In case you didn’t know, motorcycle top boxes need to be registered. A lot of riders might not know this at first, as the typical boxes that can be purchased from most shops are usually exempt from registration requirements. The Land Transportation Office only mandates custom top boxes and saddle bags—including those used by delivery riders—to be registered.
Anyway, for those who do have their boxes and bags registered, there’s some good news coming your way: the LTO has now removed the corresponding P100 registration fee.

Now, just to be clear, the LTO is only waiving the fees, not the registration itself. If you do have custom top boxes or saddle bags that fall under the criteria, you will still have to register them or renew the registration as necessary.
