The Department of Transportation is continuing with its efforts to improve public transportation in the city, specifically the EDSA Busway. At the turn of the year, it announced that three new stations will begin construction in 2026.
The new stations will be Cubao, Magallanes, and Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange. These will improve the Busway’s accessibility to commuters, as it will provide more points of entry and exit along the thoroughfare.

The DOTr also confirmed that the EDSA Busway Kamuning Station will be inaugurated in the first quarter of this year. Said station will be equipped with ample elevators and escalators for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and pregnant women.
These are all part of the EDSA Busway Rehabilitation Project that was announced midway last year. Currently, there are 23 northbound stops and 24 southbound stops on the EDSA Busway, or what is also referred to as the EDSA Carousel.
