As the country’s economy starts to recoup from the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, expect motorcycle sales to slowly pick up once again after what has been a slow year.

According to the Motorcycle Development Program Participants Association, total sales from January to November this year reached 1,072,926 units—a 31.5% drop from the 1,565,759 units sold in the same period last year. Meanwhile, the ASEAN Automotive Federation reported that motorcycle production in the country dipped by 51.8%. In total, 479,496 units were manufactured locally from January to October, versus 995,108 units in 2019.

Not surprisingly, many of the units sold over the past 11 months came from the top Japanese motorcycle manufacturers. Here are the bestsellers from each brand:

1) Honda

  • Click 125i – 159,398 units
  • BeAT Fi – 83,442 units
  • TMX 125 Alpha – 76,730 units

2) Yamaha
