The Trident 660 has been a huge success for Triumph. It’s compact, lightweight, and affordable, making it a good entry point for beginner riders who want to try and have a go at big bikes. It’s just a sweet bonus that it sounds really good.
For 2025, the British motorcycle manufacturer has given its popular naked bike some timely upgrades. Its shape remains the same, albeit it’s now available with new graphics and colorways, namely: Cosmic Yellow, Cobalt Blue, Diablo Red, and Jet Black. Most of the upgrades are in the tech and performance departments.

Mechanically, it’s mostly the same, still being powered by a 660cc liquid-cooled, three-cylinder engine that puts out 80hp at 10,250rpm and. 64Nm of torque at 6,250rpm. The suspension, however, has been improved to make the bike more agile than ever. The Show 41mm upside-down forks have been upgraded with Showa’s SFF-BF big piston damping. Together with the Nissin brake calipers and 310mm discs as well as the Michelin Road 5 tires, the Trident promises excellent handling and control.
Triumph has also equipped the Trident 660 with new standard tech including optimized cornering ABS and traction control. There’s also Triumph Shift Assist for clutchless gear changes and cruise control for reduced fatigue on long rides. ‘Sport’ has also been added to the existing ride modes in ‘Road’ and ‘Rain.’
Considering how popular this model is in our market, we wouldn’t be surprised if it won’t take long before Triumph Motorcycles Philippines launches this here. What say you, readers? Do you like the updates to the Trident 660?
