This is our best look yet at Triumph’s upcoming Trident revival

The motorbike is in its final testing phase

Late last month, Triumph gave us all a glimpse at the all-new Trident motorcycle—a pretty, plain white motorbike that looked like it’d be a huge pain in the rear to keep clean. That wasn’t the actual thing, though, but a prototype. Now, the manufacturer has revealed images of something closer to the production version.

Granted, the Trident here is covered in camouflage, so it doesn’t exactly reveal much. But these new images of the motorcycle, taken near the company’s UK headquarters and design facility, are of the vehicle in its final road testing phase. The brand says it’s been very busy fine-tuning its upcoming motorbike, which will be hitting showrooms in the first half of 2021.

As expected, no performance details have been divulged. All the company shared is that the Trident will pack an engine with “the perfect balance of low down torque and top-end power.” Triumph added, though, that the date of the model’s full reveal will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

Thoughts? It looks really, really good—subtle and minimalist, but at the same time muscular in demeanor. If Triumph can endow this thing with the performance to back up its look, that'll be a definite winner in our book. Are you looking forward to this motorcycle’s release, too?
