Planning to buy yourself a brand-new pickup truck? Then read on, because the prices of the updated Mitsubishi Strada have been revealed prior to its launch.
The prices are currently up on Mitsubishi Motors Philippines’ official website. The new Strada will be available in six variants, with both manual and automatic transmissions. Check out their price tags below:
2019 Mitsubishi Strada
- Strada GLX Plus 2WD 2.4 MT – P1,165,000
- Strada GLX Plus 2WD 2.4 AT – P1,240,000
- Strada GLS 2WD 2.4 MT – P1,225,000
- Strada GLS 2WD 2.4 AT – P1,300,000
- Strada GLS 4WD 2.4 MT – P1,445,000
- Strada GT 4WD 2.4 AT – P1,670,000
We drove the Strada late last year in Thailand, and the current model’s 2.4-liter MIVEC turbodiesel is expected to be carried over. The big news is that the update equips 4WD units with either Super-Select 4WD or Easy-Select 4WD.
Obviously, the looks are different, too. The styling is now more in line with the design direction Mitsubishi has taken with cars like the Xpander MPV: a new Dynamic Shield grille up front, and boxier, more sculpted proportions and lines all around. There’s new trim inside with soft-touch materials and a handful of safety improvements as well. Last but not least, the ride has been improved thanks to larger rear dampers.
Of course, we’ll have to wait for the vehicle’s launch to find out the exact specs of the local Strada lineup. It shouldn’t be long now.
