For those seeking a budget-friendly subcompact sedan, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has just released a new offering of its segment leader. The Japanese carmaker has just revealed the details of the new Vios XLE.
“Toyota is introducing the Vios XLE to give our customers the freedom of choice on how they want to purchase and modify their car,” says TMP first vice president Cristina Arevalo. “This new variant combines affordability and style without sacrificing the everyday practicality that the Vios has always been known for. We call this the XLE Advantage.”
The new variant slots above the Base, J, and XE in Toyota’s ever-growing Vios lineup. Its features include driver, passenger, and knee airbags, 15-inch alloy wheels, four-beam halogen headlamps, a seven-inch infotainment display with WebLink, and Vehicle Stability Control with Hill Start Assist. It’s powered by the same 1.3-liter engine found in other lower-end variants with 98hp and 123Nm on tap.
Check out the prices for the XLE below. Retail sales begin this weekend, November 8 and 9. For more info, you can visit any of TMP’s 70 dealerships nationwide.
