Hino Motors Philippines has launched its first model for 2021: the all-new Hino 300 Series. This is the latest addition to the manufacturer’s local light-duty truck lineup. Let’s take a look.
The new truck gets a few changes to its design. The black trim and claddings up front have been replaced with a new-look chrome grille and a plain white bumper. The chrome strip on the grille now also stretches above the headlights.
Inside, the cab also gets a few improvements such as the bigger instrument cluster. The power doors and windows, as well as the seats, have also supposedly been improved.
The new 300 Series packs a Euro 4-compliant four-cylinder diesel engine that can now be had with a six-speed automatic transmission. In addition, other 300 Series variants are now available with SRS airbags and ABS for improved safety.
The truck can be had in narrow- and wide cab-variants and is now available in all Hino 3S dealerships across the country. HMP didn’t mention anything about prices in its press release, though, so maybe a call or a visit to a nearby dealer might help if you have any inquiries.
“We recognize the importance of the local transport and logistics industry given the challenges the country is currently facing. As the country works toward economic recovery, HMP will continue providing total support to its customers and lifetime value to Filipinos and the country,” said HMP president Mitsuharu Tabata. “With the introduction of our all-new Hino 300 Series, we hope to not only support local suppliers and retailers in responding to the current demands of the market but also to help them in expanding to other businesses and finding new opportunities.”
