At the moment, Audi Philippines has two full electric vehicles in its stable. These models are the low-slung e-Tron GT and, at the opposite end of the scale, the high-riding Q8 e-Tron crossover.
Keen to expand its EV portfolio in the country, the company has rolled out a third model. That would be the Audi Q6 e-Tron, and it’s serves as a more compact alternative to the brand’s flagship electric crossover.

The Audi Q6 e-Tron rides on the PPE or Premium Platform Electric architecture. That means it shares its bones with another luxury electric crossover in the Volkswagen Auto Group family, the Porsche Macan. Locally, its prime competition are the BMW iX3 (due for a full model change soon), and the Lexus RZ.

Locally, the Q6 e-Tron only comes in one trim level. It’s the sportier S Line meaning it gets sportier bits. That means 20-inch alloys, gloss black highlights throughout the exterior, and a more aggressive pair of bumpers at the front and rear.
Inside, the Philippine-spec model benefits from the triple screen layout. Its 11.9-inch digital instrument panel boasts Audi’s Virtual Cockpit Plus, while the rest of the screens measure 14.5 inches and 10.9 inches. Of course, it has niceties such as extended leather finishes, a 20-speaker Bang and Olufsen audio system, trip-zone climate control, and LED ambient lighting.

This model also benefits from advanced driver assist systems. That includes autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, and more. Of course, a 360-degree view camera is standard, along with a clever augmented reality (AR) head-up display.
The words Audi and rear-wheel drive don’t go together that often, but that’s the case here. The Philippine-spec Audi Q6 e-Tron uses a single electric motor that doles out 326hp and 485Nm. It then draws energy from an 83kWh battery that’s good for up to 640km.
