Lynk & Co isn’t a stranger to electrification. Sure, it still makes traditional combustion-engined models, but it also has plug-in hybrids in its stable. However, it doesn’t have a full electric model at the moment.
But that’s all about to change now. With the introduction of the Lynk & Co Z10, the company finally has an entry in the EV market.

In typical EV fashion, its exterior design is shaped by the wind to minimize drag. The company says it features its second-generation design language, so expect more models to take some cues from the Z10. It still has the distinct daytime running light pattern and low-mounted headlights, but it’s in a more rakish appearance.
At over five meters long, the Lynk & Co Z10 is positioned at the large executive sedan market. Its exact measurements are 5028mm long, 1966mm wide, and 1468mm tall with a 3005mm wheelbase. Those dimensions also make it the largest sedan in the company’s range. The inclusion of active spoilers and shutters then give it a low drag coefficient of 0.198 Cd, crucial for eking out every bit of range from its batteries.

Inside, driver’s are greeted by a tablet in the center stack that houses most functions. A digital instrument cluster is a given, so is the minimal use of physical buttons. Speaking of the cluster, it’s a narrow 12.3:1 ultra-long screen, and if that’s not enough information for you, there’s also an AR head-up display
Now, for the important bit, the powertrain. There are no official numbers yet, but Lynk & Co are making pretty bold claims. The Z10 is said to offer a maximum pure electric range of over 800 km. It also has fast-charging abilities and can boost its range by another 573 km with a 15-minute charge.

Given that the company said ‘motors’ in its literature, it could be said that the Z10 uses a dual-motor arrangement. Lynk & Co didn’t horsepower and torque figures just yet. However, it says that the Z10 can get to 100kph from a standstill in just 3.5 seconds.
