In case you haven't heard, Nissan has set a bold and ambitious target for itself. The Japanese automaker aims to launch 30 new models by mid-2027. Yes, 30 models.

One of the many models teased in its presentation appeared to be the all-new Navara. That's one model we're looking forward to given the current model's age. But another model that caught our attention, and it looks like the next-generation Nissan Patrol.

Nissan The Arc Business plan

The SUV appears right before the Navara. From there, we can see a set of a wide set of tail lights connected by a single light bar. It apes the look of the recently unveiled Infiniti QX80, but the design of the Patrol is boxier and more angular.

As for the outline, it's similar to the Infiniti which shouldn't be much of a surprise. There's also a quick glimpse of the front end, showing off its distinct LED pattern. At this point, all that's left for Nissan is to show the full-sized SUV in all its glory.

That said, there are a few things we can expect from the 2025 Nissan Patrol. For starters, that whopping 5.6-liter V8 will likely give way to the GT-R-derived 3.5-liter, twin-turbo V6 like the QX80. Should the Patrol use exactly the same engine, we can expect horsepower and torque figures to be rated at 450hp and 700Nm of torque.

While we're not expecting it to have the same amount of luxurious equipment, the next-gen Patrol could be the plushest one yet. At the same time, there could be more advanced driver assist systems fitted to the large SUV, the norm in the segment.

When will Nissan show the all-new Patrol? The company is still silent on that matter, but it's safe to say it'll only be a matter of time.
