The Porsche Taycan recently got updates and upgrades for the 2025 model year. It made its world premiere back in February, and it has finally landed in Southeast Asia. Singapore is the first to get it, and it even came in a special color.
The model that was shown in Singapore was the Turbo S and draped in a unique shade of green. Dubbed Celestial Jade, it’s the first time that color was shown to the public. Two premieres, then.

Other versions of the Taycan will eventually be sold in Southeast Asia, but it’s the Turbo S that gets the spotlight at the moment. But regardless of the variant, Porsche claims great improvements to its electric four-door coupe. In the company’s words, all models get more power, more range, accelerate quicker and charge faster with greater stability.
As mentioned, all versions of the Taycan get more punch from their electric motors. In the case of the Turbo S, it punches out 940hp and 1,100Nm of torque. With launch control activated, it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, making it 0.4 seconds faster than its predecessor.

If that’s a little too much, there are ‘less powerful’ versions available. Mind you, the ‘base’ version already puts out 430hp, while the 4S packs 590hp. For those who want more performance but don’t want to go all out on the Turbo S, there’s the standard Turbo with 872hp.
It is yet to be determined when the Philippines will get the new-look Taycan. But given that it’s already in the region, there’s a chance that it will be offered here before the end of the year or early 2025.
