According to the Department of Energy’s list of recognized EVs, the 2026 Lexus ES is confirmed to launch in the Philippines. Interestingly, it looks like the BEV version of the luxury sedan will arrive before the hybrid does.
The newest-generation Lexus ES line features three models: the fully electric 350e and 500e and the hybrid 350h. Currently, the ES line available in our local market includes three variants of the hybrid 300h.

The model expected to reach our shores first is the ES350e. The midsize luxury sedan measures 5,145mm long, 1,920mm wide, and 1,560mm tall. It has a 74.68kWh battery paired with an electric motor delivering 221hp and 268Nm of torque to the front wheels. The 350e boasts a total estimated range of 494km on a single charge.

Styling-wise, the ES350e features sharp angles everywhere from the nose, the bumper, and the headlights, to the character lines on the doors, the trunk, and the rear bumper. Lexus offers the sedan in six colors: Ultra White, Cloudburst Gray, Iridium (silver), Wavelength (blue), Caviar (black), and Copper Crest.
The car also comes with the option of 19-inch wheels finished in gray metallic with black aero covers or 21-inch wheels machine-finished in gray metallic. Lexus also provides three interior colors to choose from: white, black, or palomino semi-aniline leather layered in bamboo trim.

With the DOE giving the nod to the electric luxury sedan, we can expect the Lexus ES350e to launch sooner rather than later. In the meantime, we’ll also be on the lookout for the ES500e and the hybrid ES350h as they will probably join their sibling in the local market in the near future to complete the ES lineup.
