Fans of the Juke, Nissan’s quirky and lovable subcompact crossover offering, will have something to look forward to in September 2019.

The Japanese car manufacturer has announced that it will be unveiling the second-generation Juke on September 3. This comes just several months shy of the nameplate’s 10th anniversary, as the first-gen production model was revealed in production form during the 2010 Geneva International Motor Show.

Nissan also released a teaser photo showing off some of the car’s new design elements. From what we’ve seen, the all-new Juke will carry sleeker and more futuristic LED lighting units compared with its predecessor, as well as the brand’s signature V-Motion grille. You can see a hint of some intricate mesh in there, too. Not much else to go on other than that and some spy shots making their rounds online.

The Juke was first shown off by the carmaker as the Nissan Qazana concept at the 2009 Geneva International Motor Show. It was first brought to the Philippines in 2016, and has since made a name for itself as a nimble and city-friendly crossover that’s both affordable and stylish (though the last bit is still a common point of argument among our readers).

Hopefully, this doesn’t take as long to launch locally as the first one did. So, are you excited to see the second-generation Nissan Juke, too?
