So, Honda Cars Philippines has officially launched the all-new City subcompact sedan. We already gave you a quick peek inside the VX variant's cabin, as well as the provisional prices (which, by the way, were pretty close).
The unofficial prices we announced last week were:
* 1.5 E MT - P760,000
* 1.5 E CVT - P800,000
* 1.5 VX CVT - P890,000
* 1.5 VX+ CVT - P980,000
The official prices of the all-new City are:
* 1.5 E MT - P756,000
* 1.5 E CVT - P796,000
* 1.5 VX CVT - P880,000
* 1.5 VX+ CVT - P970,000
As you can see, Honda even lowered the provisional prices of the E variants by P4,000, and the VX and VX+ variants by P10,000.
Anyway, as we've already reported, the new City comes only with a 1.5-liter i-VTEC gasoline engine rated at 118hp (120ps) and 145Nm (14.8kg-m). No more 1.3-liter powerplant now.
The all-new City is available in five body colors: Gold Brown Metallic (in photos), Modern Steel Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Taffeta White, and Crystal Black Pearl.
Now, in case you're curious to know what the specific standard features of each variant are--especially if you're wondering why the top-of-the-line VX+ variant is so prohibitively priced--we've provided the complete specifications list at the bottom of this page. Feel free to voice out your opinion as to whether the prices are justified or not.
