The United Asia Automotive Group (UAAGI) continues to grow its portfolio, and now it’s introduced a new model to add to the BAIC lineup: the B30e Dune.
That’s right—that ‘e’ in the nameplate indicates that this is electrified. This new offering is a hybrid 4x4 SUV that easily looks like it’s going to be one of the best in the BAIC range. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about the 2025 BAIC B30e Dune.
Variants and prices

Two variants of the BAIC B30e Dune are available—a two-wheel-drive and a four-wheel-drive variant—with introductory prices starting at P1.488 million. Exterior

The BAIC B30e Dune is quite the big SUV. It measures 4,730mm long, 1,910mm wide, and 1,790mm tall with a 2,820mm wheelbase. Ground clearance is listed at 215mm. Both variants sit on 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels shod in 235/60 R19 tires. Curb weight is listed at 1,690kg while gross vehicle weight is 2,123kg.
Style-wise, it’s very futuristic with a bit of a retro vibe. Five large glass slats adorn the front clip, with half-circle DRLs flanking this glossy front fascia. Black underbody cladding wrap the vehicle all around with gray contrasting trim found up front and out back. For the 4x4 trim, it gets additional repeaters on the front fender flares.
As far as colors go, there are five available, including this pastel/matcha-like green finish you see in the photos.
Interior

The cabin is a nice and comfortable space. There’s gray and silver plastic trim all around, with body-color accents on the dash and the door panels. Speaking of which, the door panels have these quirky door handles that look like bag straps. On the center console, you’ll find the gearshift lever and dial that look like aircraft controls. Storage spaces also come aplenty, with large cubby underneath and in the middle of the front seats.
More of the same story in the second row, with gray trim and leather seats with body-color accents. Here, passengers also get a dedicated armrest as well as a USB-C charging port. In total, the vehicle can ferry up to five people.
Engine and specs

Powering the B30e Dune is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a gasoline power generator. In the 4x2 variant, the system puts out a total of 329hp and 550Nm, while in the 4x4 it does 403hp and 685Nm. The lone hybrid engine available comes with a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission that’s available across the range.
Underneath the BAIC B30e Dune, you’ll find MacPherson struts up front and a multilink suspension out back. Stopping power is handled by front ventilated discs and rear solid discs.
As far as its off-road capabilities go, BAIC lists the B30e Dune’s approach angle at 24.5 degrees, departure angle at 30 degrees, ramp angle at 21 degrees, and wading depth at 450mm.
Extra features

The BAIC B30e Dune, unfortunately, does not get Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. But it does get a humungous 14.6-inch infotainment system with an eight-speaker setup to go along with the 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster.
The vehicle also gets amenities like dual-zone automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, seat heating and seat ventilation (exclusive to the 4x4), and a 220V charging port out back, among many others. It also comes standard with a foldable table at the back that also doubles as the tonneau cover for the trunk.
Safety features are also readily available, including a 360-degree-view camera, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward- and rear-collision warning with autonomous emergency braking.
