Big news from Honda today as the Japanese automaker has previewed the second hybrid car in its lineup: the Civic e:HEV. It’ll be officially launched at the upcoming 2024 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS).

Much like the hybrid CR-V, this Civic looks virtually the same on the outside but entirely different under the hood. While local specs have yet to be unveiled, we know from the global launch that it packs a 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle engine paired with one electric motor driving the wheels and the other charging the battery. Over in Thailand, the hybrid system puts out a total of 181hp. If you want to learn more about how the system works, you can read more here.

Unfortunately, we won’t have the prices yet until PIMS. That said, there’s only a little over a month to go until then, so we won’t really have to wait long. For now, tell us what you guys think—how much do you think this should be priced?
