During the 2026 Manila International Auto Show, a lot of you showed interest in the BYD Sealion 7. Today, we’re glad to say that the wait is finally over. The fully electric SUV has officially launched in the Philippines with a sticker price of P2,588,00.
The local-spec Sealion 7 comes in only one variant: the AWD Performance. It features a BYD Blade Battery mated to a dual-motor AWD system with rear-wheel bias. The electric motors deliver a combined 523hp and 690Nm of torque, split approximately 40% to the front and 60% to the rear.

Design-wise, the Sealion 7 looks like a longer, sleeker, and more athletic version of the Sealion 6. It looks more planted than its hybrid sibling, which could be as functional as it is aesthetic, considering the AWD and high power figures. The front fascia features headlights similar to those on the Sealion 6, while the rear has angular taillights with scale-like LED patterns.
