Chinese carmaker Changan will be launching the Changan Eado Plus sedan in the Philippine market on March 25, 2026. Regular taxi users may recognize its fully electric sibling, the Eado EV460 (pictured below), as it was launched in 2025 as part of Grab’s EV fleet.
This upcoming Eado, however, is purely gas-powered and will be offered to the general public. It will come in two variants, Lite and Luxe, and buyers can expect accessible pricing for both configurations.

Once released, it will replace the outgoing Alsvin and will be the only combustion-engined sedan in the brand’s local stable. The Eado Plus will join the plug-in hybrid A05 as the two Changan sedans on offer.

Changan Philippines has remained coy about specs and details, simply saying that buyers can expect something “comfortable” and “spacious.” It also claims that the Eado Plus will be loaded with smart driving technology, which could mean that a suite of advanced driver-assist features will likely be available.

While the Eado Plus will be relatively new to the Philippines, it has been a long-standing nameplate in China, first hitting showrooms in 2012. There, it was also positioned as a cost-effective daily driver, with additional styling flourishes and features.
How much do you think the Eado Plus will cost at launch? If it’s anything like Alsvin, we should expect prices to start at well under P1 million.
