Chery Auto Philippines now has a stake in the subcompact crossover segment with the debut of the all-new Tiggo Cross.
Unveiled at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show, the Tiggo Cross will enter the Philippine market at a competitive price of P998,000.

Segment leaders are the Toyota Yaris Cross, Kia Sonet, and a collection of crossovers from multiple Chinese brands. However, the Tiggo nameplate has garnered a respectable customer base of its own, ever since its introduction over 10 years ago.

Since then, the Tiggo lineup has seen more than a few facelifts, electrified powertrains, and now, a more nimble, subcompact crossover frame. The introduction of the Tiggo Cross also showcases Chery’s new design language, which opts for flatter and longer shapes.
While the chrome-plated pattern still dominates the Tiggo Cross’ fascia, it is finished in a more reserved fashion. Compared to the top-spec Tiggo 8 Pro and Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid, the crossover shines a lot less, but that isn’t such a bad thing.
Inside the cabin, the crossover features dual 10.25-inch displays. The left display serves as the digital instrument cluster, while the main infotainment display is on the right. And yes, the Chery Tiggo Cross comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The driver and front passenger get sporty, racing-style seats, while the second-row bench is dressed in the same black leatherette material.

Under the hood, a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter gasoline engine runs the show. That powertrain is then attached to a nine-speed CVT.
The Tiggo lineup is consistently brought up to first-time car buyers, and the Tiggo Cross should be no different—especially in such a popular body type.
