There’s no shortage of Ford Everest variants in the country. But over in Thailand, the popular SUV has a whole range of them, along with a couple of special edition models.

The latest one to join the list is called the Sport Adventure Pack. From its name, it’s based on the Sport variant of the Everest. However, it comes with several special accessories that we think would be a hit here.

For starters, it comes with a different grille that wouldn’t look out of place in a Raptor. Then there’s the thicker body cladding that gives the fender flares a chunkier look. Graphics on the doors further differentiates it from the standard Everest Sport models.

With ARB being the official partner of Ford for off-road accessories, we see the fruits of that relationship here. The roof tray on the top is courtesy of the Australian company, making it a great piece of equipment for campers. There’s also a steel step board to make access in and out easier.

That said, we wouldn’t recommend too far off-road with this particular Ford Everest. As it’s based on the Sport variant, it only comes with two-wheel drive. Still, if the campsite doesn’t require hardcore off-roading, we reckon this one can take on the job.

Despite the lack of four-wheel drive, we think the Adventure Pack has a good chance of selling well in the country. Besides, majority of glamping spots don’t need you to traverse tough terrain to get to a spot. We do wish Ford offers a 4WD version, though, but that could be for another time.
