GAC International Philippines unveiled not one, not two, but three new electric vehicles at the 2025 Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit.
Taking center stage was the GAC Hyptec HT, which wowed the SMX Convention Center with its rear gullwing doors. The fully electric SUV was built with what GAC advertises as “submarine-grade” steel, while the interior is dressed in leather. Priced at P2.26 million, the Hyptec HT is currently offered with a P999 launch package that includes close to P100,000 in merchandise and discounts.

GAC exclusive launch privilege package for new buyers:
- 7kW wall-mounted home charger
- Portable charger
- Charging credits
- Vehicle tint
- Car cover
- Floor mats
- Three-year LTO registration
- Three-year TPL insurance
- One-year preventive maintenance
- P10,000 cash discount

Next to the Hyptec HT is another fully electric SUV, the Aion V. Stickered for a more conservative P1.498 million, the Aion V is also offered with the same accessories package. GAC has rated its new electric SUV for a driving range of 520km, and a 16-80% charge time of just 16 minutes with a DC charger.

Finally, the Aion UT was also presented, and the Chinese carmaker aims to draw in younger car buyers with this model. GAC hopes to ride the momentum this vehicle gained in its debut in Thailand, where it reportedly shifted around 1,000 units in just over a month.
These vehicles, along with the hybrid versions of the M8 and Emkoo, are currently on display at the SMX Convention Center Manila this weekend.
