When the Geely EX5 EM-i’s arrival was confirmed earlier this year, we said it would need to be priced just right to challenge the BYD Sealion 6 in the electrified compact crossover class. Well, Geely Philippines has now announced the official prices, with the P1,288,000 entry point for the base variant undercutting its strongest competitor in the segment.

- Geely EX5 EM-i Pro – P1,288,000
- Geely EX5 EM-i Max – P1,468,000
For reference, the Sealion 6 DM-i is priced at P1,548,000, while the smaller, more budget-friendly Sealion 5 DM-i has a price tag of P1,248,000.

As mentioned in our earlier report, the EX5 EM-i is mainly driven by an electric motor that puts out 215hp and 262Nm of torque. The 1.5-liter engine here acts mainly as a generator to keep the 18.4kWh battery topped up; on its own, it makes 98hp and 125Nm.
According to Geely, the ‘Super Hybrid’ system powering the EX5 has a hybrid fuel consumption equivalent to 41.6km/L, and a total range of more than 1,000km on a full tank and charge. The battery can be fast-charged up to a rate of 30kW, achieving 30% to 80% in 20 minutes.
The EX5 EM-i is now available for preorders, with a number of promos available for stacking to bring down the price. Those who put down a P1,000 reservation fee until March 27 will get a P10,000 discount. Under the ‘Born Super Hybrid’ promo running until May 31, 2026, buyers get another P50,000 off on any variant of the model. Finally, the ‘Refer and Earn’ promo for existing Geely owners gives P4,000 in PMS vouchers to both the referring owner and the referred EX5 EM-i buyer for purchases made until May 31.
