Toyota Motor Philippines has issued a Customer Satisfaction Campaign for select Camry units produced between November 25, 2022, and September 2, 2024. These models may have defective front and side camera sensors, which can lead to malfunctions in the panoramic view monitor system.

The recall has since been echoed by the Department of Trade and Industry. Affected Camry owners are encouraged to verify if their unit is included by uploading their vehicle identification number on the Toyota Service Campaign website.

Inspections and repairs will be free of charge at authorized Toyota dealers and service centers. In total, 1,033 Camry units are expected to be included in this recall.

In case you missed it, a separate Customer Satisfaction Campaign was launched in January 2026 for 103 Alphard and Lexus LM units due to faulty rear window defoggers. However, it is unclear if Toyota has also described this Camry recall as non-urgent. It is probably best to get these inspections and repairs done as soon as possible.

The Japanese brand is expected to have a busy month ahead, as it is slated to launch two all-new models. The sixth-generation RAV4 is expected to debut in March, alongside the fully electric Urban Cruiser crossover. Toyota showrooms and service centers could be looking a lot different in the near future.
