GWM Philippines has teased the arrival of the Haval H7 on its Facebook page. The electrified SUV, which first debuted at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), is set to launch on June 15 and will feature hybrid and plug-in hybrid options.
The Haval H7 will come in three variants: the HEV 2WD, PHEV 2WD, and the Hi4 PHEV 4WD. Both 2WD variants feature a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine paired with a single electric motor, making 540Nm of torque with 241hp for the hybrid and 318hp for the plug-in hybrid. The 4WD variant, meanwhile, gets a similar engine paired with dual electric motors, delivering a combined 360hp and 760Nm of torque.

The PHEV 2WD variant has an electric range of 105km, while the PHEV 4WD achieves 91km of EV range. We don’t have the average fuel consumption just yet, so we’ll have to wait until it launches or until we get our hands on the car for an eco run.

Design-wise, the Haval H7 looks like what you would expect from the GWM sub-brand. It has boxy elements everywhere, from the silhouette, the head- and taillights, the body lines, the bumpers, and the side molding accents. In fact, the only circular exterior items are the wheels.
Other features on this SUV include a 15.6-inch touchscreen display with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, a head-up display, and a panoramic sunroof. Again, the GWM Haval H7 will launch on Monday, June 15. Expect the official prices for the three variants to be released by then.
