The all-new Suzuki Dzire has just been officially unveiled. With that, it’s set to become one of India’s most popular sedans as Suzuki is the number one brand over there. That said, the folks from Honda aren’t taking this sitting down.
Not to be outdone, yet another teaser for the all-new Honda Amaze has been revealed. This time around, we see more of the car inside and out thanks to the design sketches provided by the automaker.

With the reveal of the design, at least in sketch form, we can say that the next Amaze takes a page from Honda’s bigger sedans. There are elements from the Civic at the front with its dynamic headlights. The large grille is a little out of character in the current crop of four-door Hondas, but it’s there to make the subcompact car look more imposing.
What’s more surprising is the rakish rear end. It’s not something that one can say about these sub four-meter sedans. There’s the long wraparound tail lights that combines elements from both the City and the Civic. The wide trunk opening also promises a large trunk.

Inside, the redesigned Amaze follows Honda’s current design language of Man Maximum, Machine Minimum. There’s the two-level dashboard that’s seen in the Civic with its flat design, floating touchscreen, and simple controls on the stack. There’s also a sizable storage bin in the center, and we also see a glimpse of its mechanical parking brake and analog instrument cluster.
It’s still unknown what will power the new generation Amaze. Chances are, it’s an updated version of the 1.2-liter i-VTEC engine that’s also used in the Brio. If so, we’re likely to see it paired with either a five-speed manual or CVT.

The 2025 Honda Amaze will make its world premiere on December 4, 2024. With that, this model could also underpin the future Brio down the line.
