Damn, Hyundais look quite punchy now, huh? This is the new i20 N Line, and while it gives us a good idea of what to expect from the raucous, Fiesta ST-baiting i20N hot hatch, it operates a rung below in terms of performance.
So, beneath the skin is the option of 1.0-litre turbo and 1.2-liter engines, offering between 83hp and 118hp, with 48V mild-hybrid technology available at the top end of the range. There’s little mention of chassis tweaks, so we suspect it won’t be anywhere near as boisterous as the i20N to drive.

The styling is the big talking point, though, from the checkered-flag-like grille at the front to the triangular foglight and twin exhausts at the back. Go for ‘Polar White’ and you also get the option of a black roof, the striking two-tone color scheme you see here. Inside, you get N seats and plenty of red stitching and detailing.
Like what you see? Does it whet your appetite more for the i20N?
