The Jetour T2 certainly has the stature and impression of a big SUV. Certainly larger than midsize, but not quite hitting those full-size measurements. Some may even be surprised that it seats only five passengers. Well, at Auto Shanghai 2025, Jetour previewed its newest iteration of the the model, and this one goes the whole nine yards. Enter the Jetour T2 Extended Edition.

True to its name, the longer T2 uses its extra 249mm of length to add a third row of seats and more cargo space. Under the hood and throughout the chassis, that extra real estate has also been maximized to beef up the hybrid powertrain and overall performance.

While we didn’t get a chance to sit inside the new T2 variant and properly evaluate the legroom on the third row, it appears roomy enough to slot in two passengers and still retain decent cargo space in the back.

The rest of the cabin looks unchanged, aside from some added seat cushioning. The exterior also remains mostly standard, until you notice that bigger-than-usual rear bumper, which stretches out quite a bit.

If Filipino drivers won’t get this for the extra seats, they might just get it for the performance. The T2 Extended Edition sports Jetour’s Intelligent XWD system, which is then bolstered by three motors and a 43.24kWh battery. Yup, this sucker is a tri-motor hybrid.

All in all, that hybrid powertrain should be good for 462hp and 700Nm of torque. Jetour claims it can do 206km on electric power, and close to 1,300km in combined performance.

Should Jetour Auto Philippines bring this in? Let us know in the comments.
