Apart from Kia’s display of the Carnival Hybrid, EV5, EV9, Sonet, and Sorento Hybrid at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), the Korean carmaker has also announced the upcoming launch of the PV5 electric van and the EV3 electric crossover.
Let’s start with the PV5. The fully electric multi-purpose van was first launched globally in 2025. Designed under Kia’s Platform Beyond Vehicle strategy, the PV5 is available in various base configurations, including high-roof, commercial, and passenger layouts.

Size-wise, the PV5 measures 4,695mm long, 1,895mm wide, and 1,923mm tall, with a 2,995 wheelbase. It comes with either a 51.5kWh battery for the Standard Range variant paired to an electric motor delivering 120hp and 250Nm, or a 71.2kWh battery for the Long Range, which increases power to 161hp while maintaining 250Nm of torque. As for driving range, the Standard Range-equipped PV5 achieves 295km, while the Long Range gets 412km, both in mixed conditions.

The EV3, on the other hand, is Kia’s second-smallest EV crossover in its lineup (larger only than the EV2 sold in European markets). It measures 4,300mm long, 1,850mm wide, and 1,560mm tall, with a 2,680mm wheelbase.

Like the PV5, it also comes with Standard Range and Long Range battery options. Both come mated to an electric motor delivering 201hp and 283Nm of torque, with the main difference being driving range, with up to 435km on the Standard Range and up to 605km on the Long Range in mixed conditions.
Both EVs will be launched soon, with prices and variants to follow. If you want to check out more of Kia’s lineup, you can visit its booth at PIMS 2026 until Sunday, June 7, at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
