Nissan Philippines has revitalized two classic nameplates at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show. On the left side of its stage stands the all-new Primera midsize sedan, while an entirely different Navara pickup can be found on the other end.

The Primera has been out of circulation for about 20 years, but today it has been revived as a fully electric vehicle based on the China-built N7. That particular sedan launched in 2024 and has been a Chinese-exclusive since; it is now on display at the World Trade Center in Metro Manila.

Meanwhile, the Navara Pro is equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain and is essentially a renamed Frontier Pro. Like the Primera and the N7, the pickup was once a Chinese exclusive, but global exports began in April earlier this year.

The pair is currently showcased alongside two e-Power crossovers in the Kicks and the X-Trail, with Nissan Philippines cementing its commitment to embrace electrification. So far, only the X-Trail will undergo an official launch as its price was previously revealed at P2.29 million.

The preview of the Primera also serves as its first appearance in the Southeast Asian region, but it is also slated to make appearances in other global markets. Which model would you like to see Nissan Philippines launch next? Sound off in the comments section.
