The Lexus LFA Concept has officially been unveiled, presented as a more realized iteration of the Sport Concept we saw in August. This arrives as Lexus’ first release after the 2025 Japan Mobility Show, where the brand announced it would take a more experimental approach to its vehicles.
While it certainly looks modern and features a load of tech, the LFA Concept is still deeply rooted in Toyota heritage. The Japanese carmaker explained, “From the past to the future? The Lexus LFA Concept is a testament to Lexus’ taking on the challenge of continuing to preserve and pass on to the next generation the value of sports cars and must-retain car-making knowledge while striving to evolve such know-how.”

Built on an all-aluminum body frame, the LFA Concept aims to cement the brand’s status as the gold standard in fully electric sports cars.

Inside, Lexus has designed the cockpit to maximize immersion, while keeping a minimalist spread throughout the cabin. This combination upholds car-driver unity and further promotes instinctive vehicle control.
There is still no word on the LFA Concept’s battery size, range, and electric-motor setup. Several aspects of the LFA have influenced the new GR GT and GR GT3 performance cars, both of which pack a 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8. While production runs for all three vehicles are unclear, the GR GT is expected to be Toyota’s next performance road car.
