The Toyota Alphard is basically van goals, right? It’s comfortable and spacious, and riding in it can make you forget about the gridlock and chaos happening outside. It’s Manila-proof, as we all like to say.
But what if we told you there’s a new van that trumps the Alphard’s opulence? This van won’t just make you forget about the traffic—it’s so luxurious, in fact, that you’ll forget about everything else in your life and you’ll never want to step outside ever again. #LifeProof?
This is the Lexus LM, so yes, it’s also a Toyota. The Japanese marque has just introduced the van at Auto Shanghai 2019, and it’s been designed for China and other select Asian markets. The cabin is described as the “ultimate comfort space,” with amenities like a 26-inch display, umbrella storage, a refrigerator, and a center touchscreen control panel for the seat position, aircon, and audio.
And as you can see in the picture above, the seats are lifted straight out of a business-class cabin. You can choose either a seven- or four-seat configuration depending on how much space you desire.
The LM comes in either front- or all-wheel-drive, with the choice of a 3.5-liter gasoline engine or a hybrid system. Not that you’d be worried about any of that when you’re sipping champagne and catching up on Netflix in the backseat. Click play on the video above for a closer look.
