Lexus joins the parade of automotive companies that have been revealing their main attractions for the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show. In the case of the Japanese luxury carmaker, it\'s a radical take on the midsize crossover vehicle, powered by a new variant of the Lexus Hybrid Drive system that\'s \"tuned for SUV performance.\" The concept is called the LF-NX.
Obviously, even in its concept form, the LF-NX wears the spindle grille, complemented by \"extremely expressive signature front lighting as well as unique corner styling that separates the bumper from the front wing with an aggressive vertical cut.\" Viewed from the side, the LF-NX features muscular wheel arches trimmed with a black protective finish. Lexus adds: \"Above the pronounced diamond shape of the belt line, a classic Lexus side-glazing profile and a steeply raked tailgate create the sweeping silhouette of an athletic coupe.\" The rear, meanwhile, features highly articulated lamp clusters that are \"detailed to project downward to the full depth of the bumper.\"
The Lexus LF-NX sports a new Brushed Metal Silver paint job, which, Lexus thinks, \"gives the striking impression that the bodyshell has been carved from a single billet of solid metal.
Inside, the dominant color is Sunrise Yellow, complemented by black leather upholstery and blue instrument lighting.
Now, who wants to bet that this is actually the next-generation RX?
