The all-new Mitsubishi Pajero is set to roll out in Thailand in December later this year, as preorders are now open. There, buyers can choose between three variants, all priced very competitively—well, compared to mid- to full-size SUVs here in the Philippines, that is.

The stable starts with the Pajero GLS 2.4 8AT 4x2, priced at just 1.499 million Thai baht, or around P2.81 million. The top-of-the-line variant, Pajero Super Exceed 2.4 8AT 4x4, then comes in at 1.999 million Thai baht, or about P3.75 million.

Mitsubishi Pajero 2027 Thai prices:

These prices aren’t too far from what the Pajero will cost in Australia. Down Under, Mitsubishi’s crowning SUV will start at just P3.07 million after converting the Australian Dollar price.

After these two countries, the Pajero is expected to make its way to a total of 100 markets, which gives us the utmost hope for a Philippine release. These prices also give us some expectation that the Pajero won’t cost too much when (yes, when—we’re manifesting) it eventually arrives on local shores.

Given that the SUV is being manufactured in our Southeast Asian neighbor Thailand, hopefully that proximity also gives us a few variants to choose from. As we eagerly wait for the Pajero, let us know how much you think it will cost in the Philippines. The comments section is yours.
