When the new Toyota Vios was introduced earlier this year, fans of the Japanese brand wondered when the new version of the car\'s twin model, the Yaris, would be unveiled. Those fans can stop wondering now, as the latest iteration of the subcompact hatchback has appeared on the website of Toyota Thailand. Apparently, this development is surprising even to Thais, as the website exclaims: \"All-new Yaris...that\'s right!\"
Unfortunately, that phrase is the only part of the website written in English--outside of the section headings--so we can\'t really convey much to you apart from these photos. Oh, yeah, we can decipher that part where it says the new Yaris will be available in four variants: G, E, J and J Eco. We can also make out the pricing for these variants:
* G - 599,000 baht (P828,000)
* E - 549,000 baht (P759,000)
* J - 519,000 baht (P718,000)
* J Eco - 469,000 baht (P649,000)
Too bad we don\'t have the list of specs and features for these variants as Toyota Thailand\'s microsite for the new Yaris is rendered in the domestic market\'s native tongue. Until Toyota Motor Philippines gives us more specific details, we\'ll have to content ourselves with these images.
Our first impression? The Yaris now looks longer from bumper to bumper, and appears to sit lower to the ground. How about you?
