Nissan’s recent Vision event bore witness to a number of big reveals and announcements, including that of the all-new X-Trail. But apart from that electrified crossover, the carmaker also unveiled another: the all-new Juke.
The third-generation model debuts as a fully electric vehicle set to expand the brand’s lineup in Europe. This is the first iteration of the nameplate to receive any sort of electrification, and while it’s an entirely new model, it retains the quirkiness that its predecessor was known for.

It looks very much like a modern EV, with futuristic styling and a chiseled physique. But the front fascia has that quirky appeal that the second-generation model was always known for. Its a playful take on the headlamps of the Z, if you look at it. It also bears sharp lines from one end to another, and it frankly doesn’t look like any Nissan vehicle we’ve seen before. It’s like the Ariya’s louder, angrier younger sibling.

This likely won’t be the Juke’s final form, though, but we’re guessing it’ll be close to the end product. Nissan also hasn’t revealed a lot of information yet prior to its full launch in 2027, but we do know that the all-new Juke will be built on the same CMF-EV platform that underpins the Ariya. Expect good driving dynamics and solid range from this one, then.

Unfortunately for fans of the Juke, this model will be built at Nissan’s plant in the UK, so the chances of this making its way to the Philippines is very low. That said, seeing as how ready everyone is to dive into the EV lifestyle these days amid rising fuel prices, it doesn’t sound like a bad idea for Nissan Philippines to bring this in. You know, production and logistics costs aside. But what do you guys think?
