As the Philippine International Motor Show draws closer, more automakers have been showing teasers of their respective booth displays. Among them is Nissan, and it looks like it will have a very busy show ahead of it.
Nissan will be revealing four models at PIMS 2024, as hinted by a teaser shown in its social media channels. We'll cover the rest of the cars presented there, but what caught our attention is a gigantic-looking silhouette.

Does this mean the all-new Nissan Patrol is ready to be sold in the Philippines? Hold your horses, ladies and gentlemen, let’s reel in the excitement for a little bit.
The shape does suggest that it is, indeed, the new-generation Patrol. No other Nissan model in the lineup has a shape like that. We can rule out the SUV shown next-gen Terra, as the all-new Navara has yet to be revealed.

So, let’s say it really is the Patrol. Does it mean it’s in showrooms now? Well, not yet. Nissan has said that customer deliveries will begin in the Middle East and the first market to get it. That’s expected in late 2024, but worldwide sales will commence in 2025 and beyond. Think of it then as a preview to generate buzz for the redesigned flagship SUV.
With that in mind, the seventh-generation Nissan Patrol is bound for the Philippines whether it’ll be shown at PIMS 2024 or not. It remains a popular choice in the full-size luxury SUV segment, after all. As for the opening of reservation books and pricing, that’s still up in the air.
