Whenever vans are launched or refreshed, the features most touted are usually seats and space. This is expected, given their intended purpose. But safety should also be highlighted, considering vans carry more human cargo than other types of vehicles.

This is what Nissan Philippines has done when it announced the refreshed Urvan for the 2024 model year. With a host of features and advanced safety technologies, the updated Urvan is aimed at families and fleets who want a cool, comfortable ride.

From its current suite of Nissan Intelligent Mobility features, like High Beam Assist, Auto Headlamps, and an Auto-Dimming Rear View Mirror, the 2024 Urvan now includes Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) as a standard feature on all variants. Previously exclusive to the Premium trim, this system enhances stability by monitoring and adjusting engine power and brake application, providing an extra layer of control during sudden maneuvers or adverse road conditions.

VDC is complemented by the Urvan’s list of safety features, including Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) on all variants, and six SRS Airbags on the GX and Premium variants.

“The Urvan has proven to be a reliable vehicle for the transportation needs of Filipinos, and we are happy to introduce these changes to further enhance its safety,” says Nissan Philippines president Juan Manuel Hoyos.

The 2024 Urvan is now available at all Nissan dealers nationwide. Here are the current prices:
