In case you missed it, Nissan finally confirmed last month that the Terra was indeed a real thing, and that it would be making its debut in the Chinese market. Well, more details have surfaced, as well as a handful of new photos showing the midsize SUV strutting its stuff off the beaten path.

What's new? The Terra will be fully revealed in China on April 12, 2018, and will feature the Japanese carmaker's new V-Motion face up front, 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, LED headlights and the "latest smart technologies." The wheelbase will be 2,850mm long, and dimensions are pegged at 4,882mm in length, 1,850mm in width and 1,835 in height.

Nissan also promises that the Terra will have a functional layout with plenty of cargo room, as well as an interior that can "transform freely" depending on the needs of its occupants. Unfortunately, there's no official information regarding the powertrain as of the moment.

If the Terra makes it here (and we're willing to bet that it will considering our market's undying love for midsize SUVs), it will compete directly with the Mitsubishi Montero Sport, Toyota Fortuner and Ford Everest. That's some pretty stiff competition. Do you think there's room for another midsize SUV in our market?
