In the brand's recognizable luxury and style, Lexus Manila launched its booth at the 2016 Philippine International Motor Show with a spectacle that would've looked right at home on the fashion catwalks of Milan. Once the veil was pulled back by the sharply dressed models, it soon became clear what all the pageantry was about. It was the Philippines's first look at the LC500h.
The luxury coupe is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 paired with Lexus' multistage hybrid system. It features the instant torque and efficiency of an electric motor, coupled with the direct response of a multistage transmission. Constructed from high-strength steel, lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum, the LC500h claims enhanced driving pleasure, better performance, and greater efficiency.
The LC500h is the hybrid version of the brand's flagship coupe, the LC500. The non-hybrid version is powered by a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine.
"Today, there is no clearer sign that we are truly committed to delivering amazing experiences through our vehicles, and our services through everything that reflects our visionary brand. With the introduction of the LC500 range, we invite you to experience the future of Lexus in full throttle," said Lexus Asia Pacific general manager for brand management Giri Venkatesh.
Also on display at the Lexus booth is the Japanese carmaker's line-up of SUVs, sedans, and coupes. At the classy area you can see the RX350 F-Sport, the NX 200t F-Sport, the LX570, the ES350, the GS F, and the RC F.
