The Toyota Yaris has been updated, and here are the prices

It's a bold redesign

Toyota Motor Philippines has announced the pricing for the refreshed Yaris.

The subcompact hatchback still comes available with either a 1.3-liter (98hp and 123Nm) or a 1.5-liter (106hp and 140Nm) gasoline engine with no changes to output. The 1.3-liter variant can be had with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission, while the 1.5-liter only gets an automatic gearbox.

Instead of performance, most of the changes in the new Yaris come in the form of improved aesthetics. The front of the car features new swept-back headlights, new foglight housing, and a grille design more akin to the Vios and Altis. The fascia is now equipped with a different look as well, and the all-new 1.5 S variant (which replaces the 1.5 G) gets an intricate new mesh design in black plastic. The taillights also get a redesign, trading in the old ones for a sleeker, longer pair.

And speaking of the new S variant, it gets chrome door handles, halogen headlights with daytime running lights, and a red accent on the front grille. The top-of-the-line S also comes with a host of convenience features such as a push start button, two drive modes (eco and sport), and six speakers. A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system is available across the entire Yaris range.

Here are the car's updated prices:

*Toyota Yaris 1.3 E MT – P825,000

*Toyota Yaris 1.3 E AT – P877,000

*Toyota Yaris 1.5 S AT – P1,006,000

We'll have more images posted as soon as we have them. For now, you can check out the new Yaris via these photos from the Thai version.
