Refreshed Subaru BRZ

If you have a keen eye, you may have noticed that the Subaru BRZ on display at the 2017 Manila International Auto Show is the refreshed version. Motor Image Pilipinas, the official distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country, has quietly brought in the face-lifted iteration of its sports car.

The 86's twin has been available since January of this year via indent order, but beginning today, the distributor will start stocking AT variants, and only the MT variants will be available via indent order. Unlike the 86, however, the BRZ did not receive a price bump. According to MIP, the price is still P1,928,000 for both transmission variants.

The coupe's cosmetic updates are subtle. The most apparent one is the foglamps. The headlights are now LEDs and sport a BRZ logo, while the taillights are also updated with LEDs. The front bumper has a new overlapping design at the corners. On the side, the gills are now colored for more emphasis. The BRZ now wears new rims, too.

Sporty red stitching accents still adorn the cabin. The steering wheel now has button controls, but the head unit is worthy of a #ThrowbackThursday post.

Check out the photos below, or better yet, visit the Subaru booth at MIAS to see it and the all-new Impreza in the metal.
