If you're planning to buy an all-new sport-utility vehicle or crossover soon, you might want to hold it off in the next couple of months because the all-new Kia Sorento is coming.
A source connected with the Korean carmaker's local distributor, Columbian Autocar Corporation, has revealed to TopGear.com.ph that the all-new, third-generation model of the midsize crossover will debut locally in the first quarter of 2015.
Although our source failed to disclose the drivetrain of the Philippine-market Sorento, globally the all-new SUV is offered with a 2.4-liter in-line-four GDI gasoline engine (185hp), a 2.0-liter in-line-four CRDi diesel (182hp), or a 2.2-liter oil-burner (187hp). We just have to guess which of these powerplants will make it to our shores.
The Sorento is also offered as either a five- or seven-seat vehicle, and comes with an around-view monitor, a smart parking assist system, and a speed-limit information function. It also comes with a raft of safety features like advanced smart cruise control, lane departure warning system, and blind spot detection.
Will the all-new Kia Sorento be your next midsize crossover vehicle?
