The three-door Suzuki Jimny has received a welcome update for 2026: Across all variants, Suzuki Safety Sense—the brand’s in-house suite of advanced driver-assist systems—is now standard, along with new front parking sensors, additional front-side and curtain airbags, and other key safety upgrades.

This gives the compact 4x4 features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning and prevention functions, weaving alerts, and an automatic high-beam setting. A Dual Sensor Brake Support II setup was also added to improve the automatic emergency brake system.

On top of these, the higher-spec GLX Jimny gets a new nine-inch main screen and a refreshed gauge cluster with more colors. Meanwhile, the base GL variant now has a rearview camera.

In terms of power, the Jimny keeps its 1.5-liter engine, which makes 101hp and 130Nm of torque. Five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmissions are still available, and both are still fitted with Suzuki’s 4x4 Allgrip Pro drivetrain.
