Rolls-Royce's test mule

Rolls-Royce has finally released to the public a photo of the test mule of its sport-utility vehicle--or, as the British luxury marque itself told TopGear.com.ph recently, its "go-anywhere vehicle."

Utilizing the body of a shortened Phantom Series II, the vehicle is fitted with Rolls-Royce’s first iteration of an all-new, all-wheel-drive suspension system that will assist the carmaker’s engineers in creating a final production-ready version that is expected to deliver the brand’s hallmark "magic carpet ride" both on and off the road.

The test mule also supposedly hints at the size of the go-anywhere vehicle, although it doesn’t feature any design aspect of the final production model that was first announced in February 2015.
