Exclusivity among premium car brands and models is quickly becoming popular, and the latest entry is the Porsche Panamera Exclusive Series, "which features exquisite luxury and a particularly comprehensive array of standard features."
Based on the 570hp all-wheel-drive Panamera Turbo S Executive--with the “Executive” term denoting that it has a longer wheelbase to increase rear passenger space--the Panamera Exclusive Series has a two-tone paint finish of jet black metallic with a chestnut brown metallic hue highlighting the side of the vehicle from front to rear starting behind the front air outlet. Further emphasizing the exclusivity of the vehicle is that each one of the 100 units is meticulously hand-painted "to ensure a perfect harmonious progression of the two colors." For those with a more conservative mindset, traditional paint offerings are also available.
The large 20-inch Sport Classic wheels painted in jet black metallic are exclusive to this model.
Inside, all the seats and the lower door panels are covered in chestnut brown leather--all exceptionally soft--with a very special finish developed by the Italian studio Poltrona Frau, while the upper door trim is in Black Milled Nappa leather. In the center of the seat panels, the larger individual ventilation perforations are cut in the outline of the Porsche crest, again exclusive to this limited-edition model.
The Panamera Exclusive Series will host the debut of Porsche's newly developed rear seat entertainment system. As a standard feature for this model, its main components are two high-resolution 10.1-inch touchscreens on the back of the front headrests with a built-in camera and integrated DVD player. The system reportedly allows comprehensive business and entertainment functions including mobile Internet access, with the sound played through wireless headphones or the Burmester high-end surround sound system.
According to Porsche, all Panamera Exclusive Series units have an interior plaque showing its individual limited-edition number. On the outside, hand-made badges behind the front air intakes serve as a signature that the vehicle is from the Porsche Exclusive factory.
A custom-tailored luggage set with two trolleys, two weekender bags and a beauty case--also made of Poltrona Frau leather in chestnut brown and featuring crest-shaped perforations--is optionally available.
