Calling all current and prospective Toyota Corolla Cross owners who love the beach. This modification might just be the one for you.
Following the theme, ‘Weekend Coast,’ parts supplier Hayashi Telempu added two fold-out seats to the rear cargo area of the Collora Cross. The setup is further equipped with a footrest and proper leg support, which should keep you comfortable as you watch the sunset—or the sunrise if you’re a morning person. Look below, and you’ll find the trunk of a standard Corolla Cross, for your reference.

The seats are finished in a clean white color, which matches the customized two-tone finish on the car. It’s complemented by a blue hue that is meant to resemble clean ocean water. More of this blue and white combination is used on the first- and second-row seats within the cabin. Rounding out the customizations, the door trims and dashboard also get a similar treatment.

While the company has not explicitly mentioned what material covers the seats, it did share that this project is also for families who travel with their pets. Whatever the fabric may be, it does look comfortable, but that white color could highlight some muddy paw prints.

It certainly is a cool build, and we hope to see it in the metal soon. However, that may not be likely as Hayashi Telempu primarily supplies carpets to automakers. This modified Corolla Cross serves as one of its initial forays into the consumer market. It was recently showcased at Field Style Tokyo 2026, an event that brings mobility and outdoor recreation together.
