In case you didn’t know, VinFast Philippines has two pricing schemes for its all-electric lineup. Buyers can purchase a VinFast unit with the battery included, or opt for a battery subscription scheme that lowers the purchase cost, but requires the payment of a monthly battery subscription fee. That fee used to depend on the distance you covered per month.
At launch, for instance, the VinFast VF7 had a starting price of P1,760,000 with the battery included, or P1,470,000 with a battery subscription. Monthly fees then ranged from P6,300 for a travel distance of P1,500 and below, all the way up to P15,000 for distances exceeding P2,500. Under the battery subscription scheme, VinFast covers the maintenance, repairs, and replacement of the battery if its capacity falls below 70%.
The Vietnamese carmaker, however, has now revised its battery subscription policy for 2026, lowering both the purchase prices and the monthly subscription fees, and removing the travel distance limit for most of the models in the lineup. The lower prices will reduce upfront costs by “up to approximately 20% depending on the model,” VinFast says.

For units bought with the battery included. VinFast will still offer a battery warranty of up to 10 years or 200,000km, whichever comes first.
