Ford Philippines is continuing to expand its dealer network nationwide, recently inaugurating Makati Ford, its sixth new full sales-and-service outlet since the American carmaker revealed its plan to open 12 new dealerships and expand its nationwide network to 35 by the middle of the year.
"The continued expansion of our Ford dealer network will help drive our product-led transformation and momentum in the Philippines, as well as help support our aggressive growth plans for the ASEAN region," said Ford ASEAN president Matt Bradley who graced the occasion. "In addition to introducing segment-leading One Ford vehicles, we are absolutely committed to making the Ford brand more accessible to our customers here in the Philippines and across the region."
Located along Pasong Tamo in Makati City, Makati Ford has a nine-vehicle showroom and a service area that can accommodate up to 30 vehicles. This new dealership is completely separate from Ford Global City, which used to be Ford Makati.
"With the opening of Makati Ford, we are proud to continue driving the company's aggressive growth plans in the Philippines," said Makati Ford dealer principal Edmund Yee. "We look forward to welcoming many new customers to our world-class showroom and providing them with the very best customer experience."
Since the inauguration of Ford Cainta in October, Ford has opened dealerships in Butuan, Naga, Tarlac and Isabela. Over the next six months, Ford will be establishing dealerships in Bohol, General Santos, Laoag, Zamboanga, Manila Bay and Baguio.
"With more segment-leading vehicles coming to the Philippines and a growing network of authorized Ford dealerships, we remain absolutely committed to our One Ford plan and are confident that we will take this even further in 2013," said Ford Philippines president Randy Krieger.
