Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI) recently conducted its 12th National Technicians' Contest with the teams coming from the Japanese carmaker's 21 dealerships nationwide.
With "Speed with Quality is our Priority" as the theme for this year's contest, HCPI wanted its personnel "to maintain the high level of satisfaction" expected by Honda customers. The company hoped to achieved this by motivating the service personnel to enhance and strengthen their individual skills on modern technology via repair techniques (for the technician category) and customer service and handling skills (service advisor category); and to further realize the value of teamwork and communication in the service operation (team category).
Wilson Mayani of Honda Cars Shaw won in the technician category, while Franco Manlulu III, also of Honda Cars Shaw, topped the service advisor category. Rounding out the winners were Arnel Joyosa and Christian Betonio of Honda Cars Alabang, who won in the team category.
The runners-up for the three categories were:
Technician Category: Reynante Nabor from Honda Cars Manila (1st runner-up) and Arnel Joyosa from Honda Cars Alabang (2nd runner-up).
Service Advisor Category: Regalado Tuquero Jr. from Honda Cars Makati (1st runner-up) and Christian Betonio from Honda Cars Alabang (2nd runner-up).
